Pemi Youth Center Franklin is looking for our next Site Director! Our after school program is open 2 days a week, 2:45-5:30, Mondays and Fridays yearlong at Franklin High School.
Title​: ​Site Director
Type of Position/Rate of Pay​: ​Part-time, Hourly, $16.00/hr., payable by stipend (untaxed), up to 40 hours per month. PYCF is closed during the district vacation weeks. Pay not to exceed $5120 per contract year.
Purpose​: ​Assist in management of all organizational operations and administrative functions under the Pemi Youth Center Board of Directors direction and in accordance with the State of NH Department of Health and Human Services Child Care Licensing regulations.
Description:​ ​The Site Director position is important to the success of the Pemi Youth Center Franklin (PYCF). This individual is responsible for working collaboratively with PYCF Directors in overseeing all components of the PYCF programing. In addition, the Site Director will assist with administrative duties such as assisting with grant writing, fundraising, budget management, and staff development. This individual should possess strong leadership, communication and supervisory skills, with a commitment to youth development. This individual should be energetic and creative, while possessing a great love for working directly with children, youth and families. Extensive experience in program planning and youth services is preferred. A dedicated and compassionate heart is required of all PYCF staff.
Qualifications​:
1. Compliance with all site qualifications:
2. At least 20 years of age with a high school diploma or GED and at least one of the
following:
a. A bachelor's degree in elementary education or recreation, awarded by a
regionally accredited college or university;
b. An associates degree in elementary education or recreation, awarded by a
regionally accredited college or university;
c. Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus
1000 hours experience working with children in a licensed child care program,
recreation program, or elementary school;
d. A total of 12 credits in early childhood education, human growth and
development, education or recreation, from a regionally accredited college plus

 e. f.
1000 hours experience with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or elementary school;
Current Certification as an educator by the NH department of education; ​or
Experience working with children totaling 2000 hours and the following:

Documentation of enrolment in a course for at least 3 credits in elementary education, human growth and development, recreation, or early childhood education through a regionally accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least 3 additional credits as specified; and
Within 12 months of the date the individual begins working as site director, documentation of successful completion of a total of at least 6 credits as specified in (i) shall be on file for review by the department

Youth Registration / Forms​- Manage client forms and files including: o Youth registrations
o Youth contracts
o Photo Release Forms o Permission Forms
o Accident Reports
o Sign-In Sheets
Finance
- Assist with grant writing
- Assist with fundraising efforts
   
 - Assist with budget management for programming costs Future Staffing
- Work collaboratively with PYCF Directors to interview, hire, train, and supervise staff members
- Assist in managing personnel files
Community Outreach
- Attend assigned meetings
- Maintain community partnerships and develop new partnerships Facility
- Work collaboratively with PYCF Directors and Franklin High School and District administration to oversee facility maintenance and uses
- Assist with supply purchases
Special Events
- Assist with special event planning and supervision
